Position: Computer Specialist with Security Clearance
Overview COMPUTER SPECIALIST: (VDEPT) Bowhead has a job opening for a Computer/Desktop Support Specialist in Dahlgren, VA. The candidate will provide on-site customer support and technical assistance to users of a specific organization at the V Department Service Center in Dahlgren, VA. Responsibilities
* Perform data moves from external hard drives/removable media as required by customers.
* Assist other IT personnel with their job responsibilities as necessary.
* Attend and participate in IT workshops, conferences, organizations sponsoring IT topics to exchange ideas or to gain insight/networking, continuing education workshops and webinars.
* Perform job responsibilities with professionalism and courtesy, excellent customer & personal service.
* Provide scheduled after hours on-call support for customers. Qualifications
* One to three (1-3) years of overall experience.
* High School diploma required.
* Six (6) months of general Information Technology (IT) experience in a customer-service environment.
* Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point  
* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
* Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands:
* Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds
* Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
* Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location. #LI-JR1
