Position: ENGINEER/SCIENTIST with Security Clearance
Duties Help
* You will execute and support efforts associated with systems engineering and integration, software design and development, software management, software testing, and software certification for fire control and fire direction systems.
* You will assist in the development of requirements and design of software for gun and/or other launcher weapon systems integrated with air, land and sea platforms.
* You will support execution of system engineering best practices for requirements definition and decomposition, design and implementation of customer and end-user requirements.
* You will support assessment of operational performance criteria and provide input for improving performance.
* You will perform software design, development, coding, testing, and integration tasks across various weapon systems baselines of software products, while considering agile/scrum, systems engineering, software assurance, and testing best practices. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

* Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications To Be Considered for the ND-02:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, ND-01 (GS 01-04 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
You must have successfully completed a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study as described in the Education section of this flyer. To Be Considered for the ND-03:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, ND-02 (GS 05-08 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
