Position: Junior Engineer/Analyst with Security Clearance
Amentum is seeking an Systems Engineer to join our engineering team in Dahlgren, VA. Like learning about new systems and leading edge weapon systems capabilities? Come learn and explore new technologies, new software, new hardware, and development tools in support of the Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile Program. Along the way, advise the Government by researching new concepts and technologies and developing and installing new Fleet capabilities.

Collaboration with teams across NSWCDD A Department Programs and associated contractors is expected of the candidate. In this role, the candidate will support Audits of Fire Control Software and associated products to ensure compliance.

Job Duties
* Provide support engineering teams in the development of the Strategic Weapons System.
* Effectively communication skills, both written and oral
* Perform analysis and problem solving techniques necessary to execute professional scientific/engineering work
* Work independently and with others within established teams, across organizations, to meet established goals within schedule driven timelines
* Develop and present technical briefs
* Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Skills and Requirements:
* A Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
* Must have an active SECRET US Government Clearance.

Note:

US Citizenship is required to maintain a Clearance.
* Initiative and willingness to work hard

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with NSWC Dahlgren or other SLBM organizations
* Experience performing SW Audits Compensation Details:
