What Youighborhood Bring

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read andpolate simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. They assist customers, set up, maintain and clean the seafood display cases, clean, fill and rotate the seafood displays, and lift 50 lbs. They must be able to bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods.

The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store. Essential functions include lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
