Overview

Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store, supports pick, pack and ship fulfillment, and ensures product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve their needs and provide excellent service.
• Assist with receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backroom, placing promotional signs, and maintaining GM areas.
• Operate power equipment where certified.
• Execute pricing changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and conduct inventory accuracy as directed.
• Understand how operational procedures affect inventory, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and enhance their experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment (picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while complying with applicable laws.
• Other duties as needed by business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders safely and move merchandise (up to 44 pounds) when required.
• Flexible schedule availability (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments depending on duties.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
