Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. Collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory, and support seasonal resets and installations.
Salary and Schedule Details
- Your starting pay will be $13.00–$15.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule.
- Average weekly hours: 10‑14.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day engagement:
Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products in various retail locations. Communicate with supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer required surveys. - Holiday support:
Additional hours during key holidays (Valentine’s, Easter, Mother’s, Father’s, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). May work on holidays themselves. - Department resets:
Assist with installations, relocation of card departments, and fixture setup; notified at least two weeks in advance. - Team support:
Collaborate with other merchandisers as needed.
Physical Requirements
Physically demanding: must push, pull, lift, carry cartons and fixtures up to 30 lbs routinely, up to 50 lbs occasionally; kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs or step ladders.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- Reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs routinely, 50 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable operating a digital handheld device.
- Wi‑Fi and internet access.
- Reliable transportation for assigned stores.
