A team of consultants who understand what it means to meet our guests where they are and deliver for them through strong operations, guest experience, and visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.

A Style Consultant is passionate about strong operations and providing an incredible guest experience, bringing the energy of style to life with compelling in-store presentations that enable quick and easy self-discovery. Style Consultants are welcoming and helpful in meeting guests needs on the sales floor and in the fitting room, ensuring the floor is set full with the right product, accurately priced and signed on the salesfloor with the right sizes, styles, and colors.

The skills you should have from the start

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other tech as directed
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames

We expect

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb up and down ladders
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with assistance
• Flexible work schedule; reliable attendance
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environment for duties including Drive-Up and carryout
• Maintain mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, signing, and staying informed on assortment and brand offerings
• Use store tools to understand sales and inventory and support guest needs
• Sort truck freight, move freight to the salesfloor, and locate merchandise in the backroom
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity
• Maintain backroom organization to support replenishment and guest requests
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through
• Support price changes and signing as part of merchandising
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by routing merchandise from fitting rooms to the salesfloor
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive-Up while complying with laws
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with needs
• Thank guests for shopping with Target
• All other duties as needed
