- As a Per Diem PET/CT Technologist, deliver accurate, high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring exceptional patient care.
- Perform PET/CT diagnostic and therapeutic procedures following KSC Nuclear Medicine and Radiology protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals, contrast media, and IV injections with precision and care.
- Conduct general nuclear medicine imaging when needed (e.g., Nuclear Cardiology, dynamic flow studies, SPECT).
- Apply imaging principles to consistently produce optimal-quality studies.
- Complete daily quality control for PET/CT and nuclear medicine equipment.
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Utilize EMR, RIS, and PACS for accurate documentation and image archiving.
- Support equipment upkeep, supply management, and overall clinic safety.
- Participate in continuing education, team trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for new staff during orientation.
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited program.
- Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine program.
- Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine.
- Minimum PET/CT clinical rotation within an approved NM program.
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) MRT-General Certificate BLS through American Heart Association.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer keyboard and grasp elements of digital image acquisition and venipuncture.
- Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, radiologic science or related course of study.
- ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).
- 3+ years in PET/CT.
- Bi-lingual or multi-lingual.
Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (eligibility requirements apply). The hourly pay range for this role is $28.94 to $51.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all applicable minimum wage laws.
