Job Overview

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Cypress, CA. The role involves monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and ensuring safety across various environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and more.

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Exceptional visual activity and concentration skills.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience enhances candidacy.
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32‑hour BSIS security training.
