Job Title: Production Control Coordinator
Job Duration: 12 months on W2
Job Location: Cypress CA
Schedule: 8-4:30 M-F on site
Job Description:
- Expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts to meet daily production goals and deadlines
- Check the production schedule daily to identify slow moving WIP and report potential delays to supervisors
- Maintain accurate records of finished orders and provide regular updates on progress
- Prepare essential paperwork, including production travelers and shipping orders, to keep the workflow moving
- Monitor shop floor inventory to ensure materials are correctly issued and orders are closed out upon completion
- Log and communicate any changes in material availability, substitutions, or schedule shifts to the production team
Hard Requirements:
- No ERP or similar software; manual work with Excel and MS Office
- Previous manufacturing experience needed (supply chain side not acceptable; must be a production environment)
- Experience in a manufacturing/line operating environment is required; work in a large company not necessary
- Physical demand: 70% physical labor, 30% computer
