Job SummaryAs an Inside Sales Supervisor at ICC, you will lead and develop a talented inside sales and support team, driving sales performance, service quality, and customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced environment. You will oversee daily sales operations, monitor key performance metrics, and support team members to meet productivity, margin, and service goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Initial Onboarding and Strategic Alignment- Within the first 30 days, meet with the Inside Sales Manager, Regional Operations Manager, and Regional Product Marketing Manager to understand the company vision, branch goals, and key objectives.
- Develop and document a strategy to measure progress toward achieving monthly branch sales and margin targets.
- Establish monthly one‑on‑one meetings and quarterly performance reviews with each team member to ensure alignment with company goals and individual development plans.
- Evaluate team members’ performance regularly, identify areas for improvement, and implement development or coaching plans as needed.
- Ensure the team consistently demonstrates professionalism and collaboration with colleagues and internal support departments.
- Within the first 60 days, develop working knowledge of the ICC CRM system and related sales processes.
- Coach and train team members to use available system tools and resources effectively to manage sales activities, customer interactions, and issue resolution.
- Coach the inside sales and support team on identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Partner with the District Manager to implement proactive business development plans for the team.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal support personnel and external partners.
- Meet or exceed key performance objectives for the branch, including margin, profitability, and customer count growth, within the first 12 months.
- Build a strong talent pipeline by networking and identifying potential future candidates for inside sales and service roles.
- Mentor and coach employees to enhance their product and supplier knowledge, contributing to their professional growth and team success.
- Define, monitor, and evaluate measurable objectives and tactics for the inside sales team to support branch goals and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in the electronics or related distribution industry (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Experience working with CRM or other sales software required.
- Must meet the definition of a US Person under ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
- Must be able to report to the assigned office location on scheduled in‑office days.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong leadership and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to multitask effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead a team with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Business acumen to analyze financial data, plan budgets, and support branch growth.
- Creative problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Customer‑focused approach with a commitment to service excellence.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel as needed, including frequent local driving.
- Ability to build relationships, develop business strategies, and improve resources.
