As Regional EHS Manager for the West Region, you will develop, implement, and maintain effective Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across all company operations and facilities. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, drive a strong safety culture, and reduce risk, injuries, and environmental impact.

• Drive a proactive safety culture across the West Region through visibility, leadership coaching, and employee engagement programs.
• Compile and analyze regional EHS performance data (KPIs) and metrics.
• Assist and lead the development, deployment, and oversight of EHS management systems and programs tailored to regional needs.
• Oversee reporting and investigation of all EHS incidents, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure consistent implementation of global Avery Dennison and national EHS standards, policies, and procedures across all regional sites.
• Develop regional EHS training programs (including reports and analysis) for all levels of employees.
• Coach and mentor Site Leaders, Front Line Leaders, site-level EHS personnel, and EHS Committee members.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop and execute a robust regional EHS audit and inspection schedule.
• Monitor proposed and new EHS regulations & communicate impacts to leadership, leading timely compliance efforts.
• Act as the primary liaison for regulatory inspections (e.g., OSHA/state agency visits) within the region.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or CSP/CIH/CHMM certification desirable.
• Experience:
  
  5‑7 years of progressive EHS management experience, with at least 2 years managing multi‑site/regional responsibilities.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Expert knowledge of EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001), risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and root cause analysis.
• Competencies:
  
  Exceptional communication, influencing, and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Travel:
  Significant travel (40‑50%) across the West Region for site visits, audits, and incident investigations.

Salary range: $100,350 – $133,800 per year. This range represents current expectations; actual salaries may vary. The hiring base salary may be adjusted based on candidate qualifications and job scope.
