Expected base salary range $65,000 to $70,000 per year.
Looking for: Staff Accountant
Ideal Candidate:
- 3 + years Accounting/Finance Experience
- Strong/Clear Written/Verbal Communication Skills
- Extensive Experience in Financial Reporting and Analysis (High Volume)
- Proficient in Reconciliations
- Strong Excel Knowledge
- Experience with Journal Entries and Profit/Loss Statements
- Degree HIGHLY preferred
- Compile Monthly Financial Reports using Excel, Oracle, and financial software, with a focus on analyzing significant variances.
- Streamline Financial Reporting Processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reports and analyses.
- Cultivate Relationships with Department Heads and Senior Management to address financial matters collaboratively.
- Manage Month-End Closing Tasks including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Supervise Banking Transactions using EDS for efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct Monthly Bank Reconciliations and investigate potential fraudulent activities.
- Review and Update Budgets Annually, with quarterly forecasting.
- Prepare Annual Financial Reports, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
- Support Auditors during Annual Audits by providing necessary documentation and facilitating procedures.
- Enhance Technical and Analytical Skills to provide valuable insights to business partners.
- Fulfill Other Duties as needed and assigned.
