Role

Summary:

As a Marketing Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting both Marketing and Sales initiatives that drive profitable growth across North America. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this highly visible role offers exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams across the organization.

This position is ideal for a highly organized, analytical, and collaborative marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow into a long-term career in marketing or sales. You’ll work on a variety of projects, from brand activations and trade shows to data analysis, digital commerce support, and process improvement, while building a deep understanding of how a global food business operates.

The individual will work closely with all marketing & sales department personnel across all business channels. They will be excited by new and challenging responsibilities that can and will evolve over time. They are extremely organized, process driven & can be counted on to follow through on areas of responsibility.

In addition to the Marketing & sales initiatives, you will support the brand strategy via the execution of innovation, communication, and activation activities to unlock business growth in Canada. You will be responsible for developing and executing compelling growth plans on the Royal®, Daawat® and 817 ELEPHANT® brands, in line with the overall portfolio strategy.

This position is located at our North American headquarters in Cypress, California, in a hybrid schedule (2 days remote, following 90 days in role).

Key Responsibilities

Events & In-store activation planning, coordination & execution (35%)

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute major trade shows (e.g., Expo West, NRA) and Annual Sales Meetings, including planning, design, execution, staffing, scheduling, coordinating & assessment.
  • Manage 25–30 annual on-ground activations for the International Channel, including festivals, sampling events, and cricket sponsorship events, in partnership with agencies and internal teams.
  • Lead in-store marketing execution for the international channel, including window branding, truck branding, POS materials, and sell sheets. Manage co-ordination with external agencies to support initiatives.
