Fire Extinguisher Technician

We are a busy family run business looking to recruit a qualified and experienced FIRE EXTINGUISHER SERVICE TECHNICIAN covering South East Wales area on a permanent, full-time basis.

We are an ISO accredited company working to the highest standards within the industry to ensure the needs of our customers are met. We are a BAFE registered company on the SP101 scheme and therefore the successful candidate must be competent in sourcing, commissioning, siting of portable fire extinguishers in addition to the service and maintenance of the same.

As this is a mobile role, please only apply if you have a clean driving licence.

• Carry out scheduled service and maintenance of portable fire fighting equipment and hose reels
• Carry out reactive service and maintenance of portable fire fighting equipment and hose reels
• Carry out survey of customers premises for the purpose of quotations
• Carry out initial commissioning / service and installation of new fire fighting equipment, to include signage in accordance with BS5306 and any other relevant standards
• Carry out the survey and installation of fire safety signage in accordance with legislation
• Carry out above duties with the understanding and developing knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
• Be responsible for the management and security of vehicle, stock, tools and equipment
• Effectively communicate with our customers to ensure a good understanding of their premise and equipment status
• Liaise and co-operate with administrators to ensure the needs of our customers are met
