Chemical Process Operator
Full-time Permanent On-site
The RoleAn established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Chemical Process Operator to support its production operations. This is a hands‑on role focused on blending chemical raw materials accurately, maintaining high quality standards, and meeting daily production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Blend raw materials in line with formulations provided by the Quality function
- Set up, select, and accurately weigh raw materials
- Take samples for analytical testing
- Complete production records, documentation, and report any issues
- Monitor blending processes, identify deviations, and resolve issues proactively
- Operate counterbalance FLT (Fork Lift Truck)
- Flush DI plant systems as required
- Carry out manual handling tasks (up to 25kg)
- Work in a noisy and dusty environment (PPE provided)
Skills & Experience:
- FLT licence (counterbalance)
- Computer literate; experience using ERP systems advantageous
- Experience working within a manufacturing/production environment
- GCSE Maths and English (grades A-C or equivalent)
