Unqualified Learning Assistant
You'll be part of the school's Learning Support Team, supporting pupils throughout the school day while developing your skills and confidence in a classroom environment.
Responsibilities- Supporting pupils in lessons, helping them stay focused, confident, and engaged.
- Working one‑to‑one or in small groups under the guidance of teachers.
- Assisting with basic lesson preparation and learning resources.
- Helping to maintain a positive, calm, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Working confidently with pupils who present ALN and challenging behaviour, helping them feel supported and understood.
No formal qualifications are required - just the right attitude, reliability, and a genuine interest in working with young people.

- A DBS certificate (or willingness to apply - we'll support you).
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) in Wales (we can guide you).
- The right to work in the UK.
- Two recent references.
- A positive, patient approach and transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, or care experience.
