Unqualified Learning Assistant

You'll be part of the school's Learning Support Team, supporting pupils throughout the school day while developing your skills and confidence in a classroom environment.

• Supporting pupils in lessons, helping them stay focused, confident, and engaged.
• Working one‑to‑one or in small groups under the guidance of teachers.
• Assisting with basic lesson preparation and learning resources.
• Helping to maintain a positive, calm, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Working confidently with pupils who present ALN and challenging behaviour, helping them feel supported and understood.

No formal qualifications are required - just the right attitude, reliability, and a genuine interest in working with young people.

• A DBS certificate (or willingness to apply - we'll support you).
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) in Wales (we can guide you).
