Overview
Water Fitness Instructor (Part-Time)
Responsibilities- Instruct 50-minute water fitness classes that are safe, effective, and engaging
- Demonstrate exercises clearly and provide modifications as needed
- Be knowledgeable in all aspects of class setup and breakdown
, including pool space and equipment - Ensure all required equipment is available and ready for participants
- Create and manage a music playlist when music is used for class
- Monitor participants for proper form and safety throughout class
- Maintain a positive, motivating, and inclusive class environment
- Work independently and manage time effectively
- Communicate professionally with participants and facility staff
Weekly schedule is set and consistent. Day or evening availability. Schedule is very flexible.
Pay$17-25 diem per class, rate based on experience
Special RequirementsMust be a non-smoker and non-tobacco/nicotine user, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, snuff, patches, etc. and refrain from using all tobacco/nicotine products for the duration of employment with the City.
