Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Retail & Store Manager
Overview
Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
This role is with Sam’s Club’s fresh meat team. You’ll help with the quality, packaging, and display of meat items, contributing to a positive shopping experience for members through attention to detail and customer service. You will be on the front lines of member service, helping to ensure a great shopping experience.
Responsibilities- Be a Team Member:
Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; and be flexible to work in other areas as needed. - Be an Expert:
Demonstrate knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to established standards; cut boneless meat products; and maintain product quality standards. - Be a Techie:
Use digital tools to support sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; utilize handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage use among others. - Be an Owner:
Maintain an orderly work area according to company policies; ensure quality and date control for meat products; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Model high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion for the work; advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member experience in the meat area. - Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply related action plans and open-door policy in business processes.
- Completes work by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; suggest improvements as needed; adapt to feedback and changes.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Premiums may apply if criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older. The position may require completing required trainings and assessments if selected.
