Starting Hourly Rate: $15.50 USD per hour. Pay Range: $15.50 – $23.25 USD per hour.

Knowledgeable about in-store and digital services and solutions that drive adoption and loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the check lanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

As a Guest Advocate, you will develop skills in customer interaction, problem solving, and adapting to different guest situations. Training will cover product knowledge, services, and tools used in the store.

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard and greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to understand and solve their needs; promote current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Explain and promote Target Loyalty benefits; assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and assist with features of the Target App, including Wallet, and direct guests to Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering options.
• Assist with returns following store policies; escalate to leadership as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and stock supplies during store hours.
• Adhere to safety policies and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU) and Drive-Up orders, while complying with applicable laws and store policies.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Enjoy interacting with guests and team members; ability to work in a fast-paced, active environment.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Effective communication, a welcoming attitude, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; comfortable using multiple devices and scanners.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and handle merchandise as needed; willingness to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
