The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of all patient care services during his/her assigned shift. The Administrative Nursing Supervisors ensure nursing practice is according to the Ohio Board of Nursing rules and regulations. In the absence of the Hospital Administrator and/or designee, the Administrative Nursing Supervisor has the responsibility and authority for appropriate administrative decision and for notifying the Administrator-on-Call.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio.
• BLS required, until ACLS obtained.
• RN licensure required.
• Certification in Nursing Administration preferred.

• 3 (three) years related professional nursing experience including 1 (one) to 3 (three) years progressive leadership experience.
• 2 (Two) to 4 (Four) years acute nursing required.
• 2 (Two) years critical care experience preferred.

• Strong computer skills, excellent communication and organizational skills.
