- Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99‑bed community‑owned facility offering 24‑hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology.
- Individuals within this job classification are accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with BMC standards to deliver efficient, effective, quality patient care.
- The Registered Nurse (RN) must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
- This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret information to identify each patient's age‑specific needs.
- The RN plans for the provision of patient care, including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with BMC standards.
- He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
- This individual will supervise and monitor LPNs as needed.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care activities in accordance with BMC standards.
- Provide age‑appropriate care to patients served on the unit.
- Interpret patient data and develop individualized plans of care.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Adhere to state licensing requirements and institutional policies.
- Supervise and monitor LPNs as required.
- Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN)
- Oklahoma or applicable Multi‑State RN license (upon hire)
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience
- BLS certification required within 14 days of hire
- ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- PALS certification required within 30 days of hire
