Python QE Automation Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Python QE Automation Engineer for a Contract role in Cupertino, CA
. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in Python‑based automation, test framework creation, web application testing, and multi‑platform debugging across macOS, Windows, and Android.

$50/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using Python and Selenium
• Performing automation testing for web applications and supporting full regression coverage
• Debugging issues across Mac Book, Windows, and Android platforms
• Writing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts and collaborating closely with development teams
• Using tools such as Git, IDEs, gRPC, Postman, Rest Assured, TestNG/Maven, and test/defect management systems
• Supporting end‑to‑end testing workflows and contributing to continuous improvement of automation test practices

• 5+ years of automation testing experience for web applications
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Python and Selenium
• Strong experience designing and maintaining custom test automation frameworks
• Experience debugging across multiple operating systems (macOS, Windows, Android)
• Hands‑on experience with API testing tools and frameworks such as Postman, gRPC, Rest Assured
• Experience with Git, TestNG, Maven, and other test/defect management tools
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
