The work is highly collaborative, requiring you to partner with various engineering teams across Apple to bring new Siri features to life for future products.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of integrating Apple Intelligence into Siri across a full range of Apple devices. You’ll design and implement new features, optimize performance, and bring stability to the platform. You will work closely with engineers across Apple to create scalable, efficient, and user-focused solutions that leverage the latest advancements in large language models (LLMs) and on-device intelligence.

• You’ll design, develop, test, and maintain the core runtime platform that powers Siri.
• Apply LLM to enhance Siri’s intelligence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and integrate new Siri experiences for upcoming products.
• Create software that meets Apple's high standards of quality and performance.
• Build tooling and infrastructure to increase productivity of processes.

• Strong programming skills in one or more compiled languages (Swift, C++ or Objective-C).
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and development environments quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative skills with cross functional teams.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, system design, concurrency, and object-oriented programming.
• M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proficient programming skills in Python
• Experience with iOS development or building apps for Apple platforms (personal, academic, or professional).
• Exposure working with coding agents.
• Familiarity with LLMs and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Exposure to on-device development workflows (e.g., debugging tools, memory profiling, performance optimization).
• Self-starter with a proven ability to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
