This position is supported by Course Co’s Senior Agronomic Team and is an ideal job for an Assistant Superintendent or Foreman looking to take the next step in their career or an established Superintendent looking to join Course Co’s growing team of agronomic leaders.

• Golf course maintenance including clubhouse landscapes and entrance road.
• Responsible for executing budget and purchasing, equipment maintenance, fertilizer/pesticide application, trees, lake maintenance, Audubon Certification and community outreach programs.

Deep Cliff Golf Course, designed by Clark Glasson and built in 1961, Deep Cliff's 18-hole, par 60, executive course is nestled in the Cupertino foothills. A short course of 3,358 yards, Deep Cliff is recommended by many course reviewers as a good starting point for beginners but can challenge any level of player.

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent or Foreman; 2- or 4-year turf degree preferred.
• Ideal candidate will possess excellent agronomic, people and water management skills. Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Experience:
  
  Poa annua/bentgrass greens in Northern California preferred. Written and verbal skills are important. Must have strong relationship building skills, strong hiring, selection and supervision skills. Excellent people skills: you will interface with Course Co’s senior management team, the onsite General Manager and the community.

Compensation/Benefits: $80,000 to $90,000 annual salary with on-site housing and utilities included free of cost. Includes shared health insurance, annual vacation, phone stipend, golfing privileges and GCSAA membership. Expenses for regional and national seminars, local chapter conferences and meetings upon approval.

The Superintendent will report directly to the golf course General Manager.
