This SRE team is responsible for the availability and automation of the critical systems and services that enable PCC to deliver cloud intelligence without compromising user privacy. - Lead SRE teams responsible for reliability and performance of on‑prem and cloud‑based services
- Leading and growing the engineers on your team
- Manage staging and production environments with goal of maximizing availability
- Promote observability of systems for monitoring, alerting, and metrics reporting
- Advocate best practices of reliability engineering
- Experience with large scale distributed systems, especially ML infrastructure and services including LLMs, Generative AI, and transformers
- 3+ Years demonstrable success leading engineering teams - ideally SRE, Production Engineering, or Dev Ops
- Knowledge of core operating system principles, networking fundamentals, and systems management
- Understanding of SRE principals, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and other common reliability engineering concepts
- Experience with hiring and leading engineers
- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or equivalent field
- 5+ years professional experience in an engineering leadership position
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $198,300 and $342,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
