Overview
This Client is seeking a highly detail‑oriented Data Quality Analyst to support data integrity, governance, and quality assurance for Channel Partner offers and pricing data. The role ensures that data sourced from external retail partners enters the client's ecosystem with the highest accuracy and reliability. It is a technical data quality and data governance position requiring strong analytical skills, advanced SQL, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Execute data quality and governance processes to validate incoming offer and pricing data scraped from channel partner websites.
- Identify data abnormalities, inconsistencies, and quality issues at the source and work with cross‑functional teams to resolve them.
- Apply and maintain data quality rules before data flows into downstream reporting systems.
- Perform advanced SQL querying to investigate, validate, and troubleshoot data issues.
- Own the quality lifecycle: identify issues, open cases, track progress, and coordinate resolutions with engineering and data teams.
- Improve reporting products by providing recommendations on data quality, structure, and process enhancements.
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards to visualize quality metrics and support reporting needs.
- Act as a techno‑functional translator, clearly communicating technical findings to business stakeholders and experienced leaders.
- Ensure strong data governance practices are applied across ingestion, validation, and reporting processes.
- Advanced SQL – able to write complex queries independently.
- Strong data governance and data quality expertise.
- Experience working with web‑scraped data, partner feeds, or external data sources.
- Tableau experience (dashboard creation, data visualization).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business‑friendly language.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, and ability to spot subtle data issues.
- Experience partnering with experienced stakeholders or cross‑functional teams.
Understanding of consumer experience or digital customer journeys is a plus.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Cupertino, CA.
Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
