We seek a Data Platform Infrastructure Engineer skilled in AWS and Kubernetes to build and maintain the infrastructure powering our data platform. You'll ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of large-scale systems, developing tools and dashboards for monitoring and management. Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD is essential. You'll collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to build, test and maintain robust data platforms.

Excellent communication skills is a must. You will work directly with customers to explain how to use the infrastructure to build solutions that meet their business goals.

• Design, build, and operate AWS-based infrastructure supporting large-scale data platforms
• Deploy, scale, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation for provisioning, testing, and deployment
• Build tooling, dashboards, and monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform services
• Partner with application, data, and ML teams to support platform needs and unblock delivery
• Work directly with internal customers to understand requirements and guide them on best practices for using the platform

• 8+ years of programming experience in Python (preferred) or Java.
• 5+ years of experience operating large-scale infrastructure systems in cloud environments
  • MUST have AWS experience
  • MUST have deep scaling and operating experience in Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting).
• Experience with Apache Spark (preferred) or other distributed data processing frameworks.

• Big data experience with a mainstream open-source framework (e.g. Terraform/Crossplane, Prometheus)
• Experience with IaC fundamentals and monitoring solutions
