As part of the Apple Financial Services (AFS) team, you’ll play an integral role developing key sales strategies while preserving our day-to-day financial health. You and your team will support Apple’s worldwide growth, both top and bottom line, by applying the same level of innovation toward financial matters as we do toward our products and services. You’ll also collaborate with Apple teams across the world to develop more effective investment strategies and risk management.

The AFS Finance and Risk Analyst is a multifaceted position responsible for driving pricing, risk management, and performance analytics for the global AFS team. This role explores all stages of the AFS customer sales cycle to develop global campaigns and drive incremental sales in Education, Enterprise, and Consumer. The role will be responsible for developing and assessing innovative AFS customer offers and programs, managing the AFS portfolio, and expanding the ways of looking at financial performance and risk.

This role collaborates heavily with both internal Apple teams and external partners to enhance AFS performance and global business infrastructure. This is a demanding role with the feel and team culture of a startup environment. The successful AFS Finance and Risk Analyst will help expand sales and drive execution of the AFS strategy by providing data-driven insight through creative analytics.

• 5+ years of experience in sales or commercial finance or related roles
• BA/BS in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field

• Strong analytical focus with business, quantitative, and portfolio modeling experience
• Experience or strong interest in structuring financial products, ability to effectively understand economic trade-offs and help shape customer conversations
• Proven track record of influencing and challenging outcomes to drive results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate results of analysis and present complex information to senior leadership.
• Big picture thinking with inherent curiosity to understand and own all details
• Standout colleague with the desire and ability to collaborate with global business partners
• Proficient in Excel and ideally experience with data analytics tools (e.g.,R, Python) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau)

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
