DescriptionApple Inc. has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Own the Core Technologies operations readiness and successful bring up of critical components for iPhone, iPad, Watch, Mac products and other new products. Collaborate with design engineering, process, quality, and procurement teams and external suppliers. Lead program readiness reviews that include overall program status of design/technical development and operations.
Drive closure on design/technical and operations issues. Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality. Lead operations development builds on-site ponsible for successful mass production ramp up. Present at weekly meetings with large multi‑functional teams and executives. 35% International Travel Required. 40 hours/week. Base pay range for this role: $120,182–$162,600/yr.
Pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience and/or education must include:
- New Product Introduction (NPI) cross‑functional engagement with supply chain, engineering, procurement, quality and retail teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Utilizing capacity planning tools, production readiness checklists, and supply‑chain platforms to support ramp schedules for OEM management and high‑volume manufacturing to ensure sufficient resourcing and production readiness.
- Collaborating with engineering teams on design for manufacturability and scalability assessments for cost‑effective and scalable production.
- Leading cost‑reduction efforts through value engineering, alternate sourcing, and process optimization to reduce product costs while maintaining quality.
- Applying Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen methodologies for process improvement to streamline operations, reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Owning E2E supply‑chain schedules, converging engineering and production issues through FMEA, root‑cause analysis (RCA), risk management, critical path tracking, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Driving troubleshooting, calibration (CAL), and preventive maintenance (PM) of advanced equipment.
