Reliability Engineering Support
This role is about testing hardware products in a lab to make sure they are strong, reliable, and don’t fail easily. You will run physical tests, analyze failures, and share results with engineering teams so designs can be improved.
What You Will Do- Run reliability tests such as shock, drop, vibration, thermal / temperature cycling
- Follow test plans and record results
- Analyze test data to find reliability risks
- Help investigate product failures and find root causes
- Use lab tools like X‑ray, SEM, FTIR, and microscopes (hands‑on or exposure)
- Work closely with design, reliability, and quality teams
- Prepare clear test reports
- Support lab activities such as equipment setup, coordination with vendors, and inventory tracking
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering, test engineering, or quality/hardware testing roles
- Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of reliability standards like JEDEC or ASTM
- Basic understanding of failure analysis and statistical analysis (DOE, FMEA, Minitab/JMP is a plus)
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Consumer electronics or hardware product experience
- Experience working with external test labs or vendors
- Exposure to advanced failure analysis tools
