About the RoleWe are looking for a highly organized, people-focused Assistant Director to help run the day-to-day operations of our STEM education campus.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with students, supporting instructors, and building relationships with parents, while also helping manage operational tasks that keep a fast-growing education center running smoothly.
The position will begin part-time on an hourly basis, supporting classes and operations as needed. During the summer camp season the role will become full-time, with the expectation of transitioning into a full-time Campus Director role as the program grows.
This is a leadership development opportunity for someone who wants to grow into running an education center.
About iCodeiCode is a STEM.org-certified coding and robotics school where students learn programming, robotics, game development, AI, and engineering through hands‑on, instructor‑led classes and camps. Our curriculum is project‑based and gamified through a belt progression system that helps students build real technical and problem‑solving skills.
Key Responsibilities Student & Parent Experience- Welcome students and families and create a positive learning environment
- Conduct trial classes for prospective students
- Communicate with parents about student progress, programs, and scheduling
- Ensure students stay engaged and supported throughout their learning journey
- Assist with daily campus operations and logistics
- Coordinate schedules for instructors and classes
- Manage student enrollments and class rosters
- Help maintain systems used for registration and communication
- Support program setup for classes, workshops, and camps
- Help manage and support instructors during classes
- Ensure instructors follow curriculum and classroom standards
- Provide feedback and help maintain high‑quality student experiences
- Assist in preparing classrooms, equipment, and robotics/coding labs
- Support after‑school classes, weekend programs, and camps
- Help with special events, trial days, and community outreach
We are looking for someone with a mix of organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience working with children, students, or educational programs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to lead small groups and support instructors
- Comfortable managing operations and administrative tasks
- Technology interest or experience (coding, robotics, or STEM education is a strong plus)
- Familiarity with tools like CRMs, spreadsheets, or scheduling systems
- Part‑time hourly initially based on class schedules
- Typical shifts include afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Summer camps transition the role to full‑time
- Work with cutting‑edge STEM education (coding, robotics, AI)
- Help build a tech‑focused community for students
- Make a real impact helping kids become confident problem solvers
