We are seeking a skilled and passionate High School Mathematics Instructor to join our academic team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong content knowledge and instructional expertise across a wide range of math courses, including:
- Algebra I / Honors Algebra I
- Algebra II / Honors Algebra II
- Geometry / Honors Geometry
- Pre‑Calculus / Honors Pre‑Calculus / AP Pre‑Calculus
- AP Calculus AB / AP Calculus BC
- Statistics / AP Statistics
We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love for mathematics while building students’ critical thinking, problem‑solving, and analytical reasoning skills in an inclusive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality, standards‑aligned lessons that promote deep understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement and academic success.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, including support for students with special needs and English language learners.
- Evaluate student learning through a variety of assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback to guide progress.
- Apply effective classroom management techniques to maintain a focused and organized learning environment.
- Stay up to date with best practices in math instruction and incorporate relevant educational technologies into teaching.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field required;
Master’s degree strongly preferred. - Minimum of two years of successful teaching or tutoring experience at the K–12 level.
- Strong proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and the integration of assessment tools and educational technology.
- Commitment to fostering an equitable, inclusive, and academically rigorous learning environment.
Job Type: Part‑time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
