HCLTech is seeking a highly talented and self‑motivated Retail / E‑commerce Engineering Lead/Manager – Omnichannel to join us in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.

Position Type: Full-time Onsite

• Establish a clear roadmap for catalog services aligned with business goals.
• Ensure catalog architecture supports scalability, omnichannel experiences, and personalization.
• Conduct market research to identify gaps and opportunities for catalog enhancements.

• Maintain catalog accuracy with low defect rates in production data.
• Oversee schema design, taxonomy, and metadata standards for product attributes.
• Implement validation rules and workflows to prevent duplication and inconsistencies.

• Collaborate with PIM (Product Information Management) teams, engineering, UX, and marketing.
• Drive smooth handoffs between catalog engineering and downstream systems like search, pricing, and inventory.
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Define and prioritize catalog‑related features (e.g., bulk upload, enrichment tools, API integrations).
• Manage backlog and ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
• Monitor KPIs such as indexing speed, search conversion, and error rates.

• 7+ years in product management or related roles, ideally in e‑commerce, retail tech, or catalog management.
• Hands‑on experience with PIM systems, omnichannel architecture, and catalog governance.
• Proven track record in Agile/Scrum methodologies and managing cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, headless commerce frameworks, and catalog microservices.

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based bonuses subject to company policies.
