People Analytics - Employee Listening Research Analyst
Base pay: $55.00/hr - $57.00/hr.
Job Duration: 12‑month contract (possibility for extension).
Locations:
Cupertino, CA / Austin, TX / Seattle, WA – 100% hybrid.
Job Description
Client’s People Analytics Research team helps senior leaders understand the employee experience and connect that understanding to meaningful action. This close‑knit, highly productive team is looking for research management support for our upcoming employee engagement surveys.
Years of Experience
3–5+ years of relevant experience with employee surveys or HR analytics, ideally focused on employee engagement.
Duties
- Deliver client’s employee engagement surveys and generate insights that directly influence the employee experience.
- Support survey operations: manage survey invitations and reporting access, perform quality control, and test online survey and reporting portal.
- Provide user help to People Business Partners, employees, and other teams through support channels (e.g., Slack, email, case management).
- Partner with Senior Research Managers to analyze survey results (scaled items and open text) to identify insights related to employee sentiment.
- Contribute to the development of new survey methodologies and research initiatives.
- Create reporting materials using Keynote, Pages, and other tools to share with leaders, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Review reports to ensure data accuracy and quality.
Skills
- Support employee surveys end‑to‑end: work with cross‑functional teams and vendors to manage fielding, analyze results (descriptive and inferential statistics, correlation, qualitative analysis), identify key trends, actionable insights, and create reports for leaders.
- Excellent organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple tasks.
- Strong data visualization skills (charts, tables, slides).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
- Understanding of data privacy principles in survey research.
Technical Skills
- Analytics and visualization platforms (e.g., R, SPSS, Tableau, or similar).
- Survey platforms (Medallia preferred).
- Project management tools (Wrike preferred).
- PowerPoint/Keynote (preferred), Excel, and collaboration tools (e.g., Box, Quip).
Education & Experience
Degree in organizational psychology, social sciences, statistics, economics, or business administration OR equivalent experience.
