Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on an Acute Neuro Unit with required BLS and NIHSS certifications and a GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in the Acute Neuro Unit within a hospital setting
- Position is on a Med/Surg unit with a neurological patient population
- 12-hour day shifts, schedule , three shifts per week
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- Care for patients with neurological medical and surgical needs
- Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before becoming eligible
- Requested time off (RTO) must be provided up front and cannot be changed after offer
- First-time travelers are not excluded from consideration
- Active GA or compact state RN license required
- Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
- Preferred ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the Med/Surg specialty
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
