• Specialty:
  Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

• Provides care for patients requiring intermediate care between ICU and Med/Surg

• Manages higher acuity patients with complex needs, including telemetry, post-op care, and multi-system monitoring

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to PCU patients

• Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry, and manage complex clinical situations

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient care planning

• Accurately document patient care and outcomes in EMR

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards

• Minimum 2 years of current PCU experience – REQUIRED

• BLS (AHA) – REQUIRED

• ACLS – REQUIRED

• NIH Stroke Certification – REQUIRED

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-acuity setting

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
