About The OpportunityTOPTAL CARE Inc is seeking experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Pre-Operative care to join the team. This is a great opportunity for travel or local RNs with a minimum of 2 years’ specialty experience to contribute to a high-performing perioperative services department. The role offers a stable day‑shift schedule with no on‑call responsibilities and a supportive clinical environment focused on patient safety and quality pre‑surgical care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients preparing for surgery
- Monitor patients’ physical condition, vital signs, and pre‑op readiness
- Administer medications and prepare patients according to physician orders
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth pre‑operative processes
- Document patient care and update EMR accurately
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pre‑operative nursing
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work 12‑hour day shifts on a deferred schedule
- Candidates residing beyond 50‑mile radius considered
