Production Assembler - F35

Overview

You will be the Production Assembler – F35 for the team responsible for assembling and installing components of the F35 aircraft.

As the Production Assembler – F35, you will be responsible for using jigs and fixtures, rivet upsetting, bench assembly equipment, and hand tools to assemble and install components.

• Use rules, squares, protractors, and dividers to ensure accurate assembly and installation
• Read and interpret detailed assembly blueprints or other authorized documents to obtain assembly and installation information and material callouts
• Perform calculations and measurements using arithmetic, including decimals and fractions
• Work to tolerances as required for the type of work described herein
• Assemble and install components using jigs and fixtures, rivet upsetting, bench assembly equipment, and hand tools

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and detail-oriented assembler with experience working with jigs and fixtures, rivet upsetting, bench assembly equipment, and hand tools. Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints, and work to tight tolerances.

Basic Qualifications: 12+ months experience in production assembly-type work or mechanical experience (HVAC, Automotive, Construction, bench assembly). Must read assembly blueprints, familiar basic hand tools, pass required testing during training and hands on proficiency demonstrations.

Sheet metal, drilling, technical experience similar to auto mechanic/auto body repair, HVAC technician, construction, bench assembly.
