Overview
You will be the Production Assembler – F35 for the team responsible for assembling and installing components of the F35 aircraft.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Production Assembler – F35, you will be responsible for using jigs and fixtures, rivet upsetting, bench assembly equipment, and hand tools to assemble and install components.
Responsibilities- Use rules, squares, protractors, and dividers to ensure accurate assembly and installation
- Read and interpret detailed assembly blueprints or other authorized documents to obtain assembly and installation information and material callouts
- Perform calculations and measurements using arithmetic, including decimals and fractions
- Work to tolerances as required for the type of work described herein
- Assemble and install components using jigs and fixtures, rivet upsetting, bench assembly equipment, and hand tools

Who You AreThe ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and detail-oriented assembler with experience working with jigs and fixtures, rivet upsetting, bench assembly equipment, and hand tools. Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints, and work to tight tolerances.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications: 12+ months experience in production assembly-type work or mechanical experience (HVAC, Automotive, Construction, bench assembly). Must read assembly blueprints, familiar basic hand tools, pass required testing during training and hands on proficiency demonstrations.

Skills:
Sheet metal, drilling, technical experience similar to auto mechanic/auto body repair, HVAC technician, construction, bench assembly.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
