Drives electric‑powered આવ્યા equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, fork grapple, clamps, and elevating platform to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or remove products, equipment, or materials. Prepares records of shipments and bills of lading for outbound trucks. Prepares records of receipt of incoming material, chemicals, and equipment and rehearses database. Holds responsibility for the accuracy of shipping documents and computer data and verifies receiving receipts with open POs.

Must be able to read, write, and speak ENGLISH (fluently and efficiently). Must have knowledge of or be capable to LEARN COMPUTER SKILLS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepares bills of lading for each shipment and checks and records all items loaded for shipment.
  • Updates shipping database.
  • Notifies supervisor or Quality Management department when any discrepancies occur (e.g., truck temperatures, meat age, etc.) in accordance with SOPs, HACCP, Company procedures, etc.
  • On receiving materials, checks and counts all items unloaded from trucks or trailers. Updates computer.
  • Weighs materials or products and records weight on correct forms as stated in our SOPs.
  • Receives other materials such as sanitation chemicals, other chemicals, and/or equipment.
  • Powered Industrial Truck operation – moves levers and pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
  • Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
  • Unloads and stacks materials by raising and lowering lifting device.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
  • Recharges batteries.
  • Covers all breaks including lunch for stack‑off position as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Performs daily, weekly, monthly inventory counts.
  • May move materials on shipping dock with hand truck.
  • Performs various daily cleaning duties (e.g., cooler and freezer, S/R dock, and outside dock טוטو area, etc.).

    Qualifications
    • Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or equivalent; two to four years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Language skills – ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP’s, HACCP, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Mathematical skills – ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Computer skills – to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Outlook (email software);
      Inventory Control Software;
      Spreadsheet software;
      Order processing and word processing software.
