As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high‑quality care to our patients. Your role includes scheduling appointments, taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and contributing to a positive team‑oriented workplace.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 50 pounds of force.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery.
• Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing.
• Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations to support business needs as required.

• Provide immunizations, take vitals, room patients, and perform clinical/clerical duties.
• Prepare patients for physician visits, perform tests, and file appropriate documents.
• Receive and direct phone calls, obtain necessary patient information, and ensure all forms and consents are completed.
• Assist physicians and nursing personnel with a variety of patient care activities.
• Deliver quality customer service and maintain established quality control standards.
• Check‑out patients, assist with referral processing, and arrange laboratory services.
• Set‑up EKG machines and other ancillary tests, administer injections and medications, and perform routine specimen collection and tests.
• Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments.
• Assist physicians with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip examination rooms with appropriate supplies.
• Handle messages, prior authorizations, and patient calls.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or RMA) required. Medical Assistant level‑1 applicants with over 5 years of experience will be considered even without certification, though career ladder opportunities will be limited.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via AHA.
• Demonstrable competency in all required skills within 90 days of hire.
• Effective verbal and written communication, compassion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care, and examination procedures.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work efficiently and independently, and reliable attendance.
• Computer literacy with entry‑level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
