Prestigious Physician Group in Cumming, GA seeking a Medical Front Office Representative

Hours:

Mon, Wed, Thurs, Friday 8-4:30, Tuesday 9-12:30
Pay: $16-18/hr.

Prestige Staffing has been engaged by one of our top clients to find an experienced Medical Front Office Representative to interview and start right away! Candidate must be professional, organized, and a self-starter. If you want the opportunity to work in a rewarding and dynamic environment, this is your chance. This is a contract-to-hire position.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner

  • Answer and route phone calls, schedule patient appointments, and manage provider calendars

  • Verify patient insurance coverage, obtain necessary authorizations, and collect copays/payments

  • Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information in the system

  • Ensure smooth patient flow by coordinating check-in and check-out procedures

  • Handle medical correspondence, faxes, and documentation with confidentiality

  • Support clinical staff and providers with administrative needs as required

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical front office or similar healthcare administrative role

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with patients, families, and staff

  • Knowledge of insurance verification, authorizations, and billing processes

  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and HIPAA compliance
