Financial Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the accounting function and ensuring the integrity of financial operations. This role oversees financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and accounting processes while supporting business decision-making through financial insights. The position also involves leading and developing the accounting team, improving financial processes, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

• Financial Operations & Reporting: Oversee accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while ensuring efficient execution of accounting activities.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve accounting processes, systems, and financial controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Cash Flow & Financial Oversight: Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key metrics to support effective financial management.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Audit & Payroll Oversight: Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure accurate payroll processing and documentation.
• Strategic Support: Partner with leadership on financial planning, cost optimization, and initiatives that improve operational and financial performance.
• Projects & Continuous Improvement: Lead or support special projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening financial processes and business operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management capacity

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and accounting principles.
• Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams in a dynamic business environment.
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QAD, or similar platforms).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
