Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 base + 5-10% bonus potential

Position Overview
We are now hiring a hands-on Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations across multiple legal entities. This role will play a key part in building scalable processes, improving reporting, and supporting executive leadership with strategic financial insight during a period of continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle accounting across multiple entities, including month-end close and consolidated reporting
- Oversee AP, AR, GL, job costing, payroll review, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain and enhance internal systems, reporting structures, and chart of accounts
- Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reporting packages
- Coordinate audits, reviews, and tax filings with external CPA firms
- Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Provide financial analysis to support executive decision-making and vendor negotiations
- Mentor accounting staff and serve as liaison with banks, insurers, and external partners
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred
- 7-12 years of progressive accounting experience
- 3+ years in a Controller or Accounting Manager leadership role
- Proven experience managing multi-entity accounting and consolidations
- Experience with ERP systems (non-Quick Books environments preferred)
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Construction, service, distribution, or manufacturing industry experience preferred
