Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Teacher at The Anvil Academy in Cumming, GA. The Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, delivering engaging lessons, and fostering an environment that supports character development and learning through hands‑on and adventure‑based education. Additional tasks include mentoring students, communicating effectively with parents and staff, and contributing to the academy’s mission to develop young men of character and responsibility.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Lesson Planning and the ability to design engaging, hands‑on educational experiences
  • Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with a passion for empowering students in their academic and personal development
  • Excellent Communication and Training skills to effectively mentor students and collaborate with parents and colleagues
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and respectful learning community
  • Experience in adventure or activity‑based education is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching experience strongly preferred
  • Understanding or support of the academy’s mission and values
