In Cognita Asia, we have a robust regional team that supports our schools. The team is based in Singapore and provides centralized support across various functions. Our Regional team now has an exciting opportunity for a Regional School Improvement Partner to join our fantastic team.

We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and experienced educator who demonstrates a positive mindset; a belief in collective efficacy and an ability to work in partnership with school leaders in driving evidence-based school improvement. To establish, embed and continuously strengthen a culture of support, challenge, accountability, and trust across our schools by leading best-practice school improvement.
The role of school improvement partner is to collaborate with school leaders and advise on ensuring continuous school improvement priorities and projects in delivering, monitoring and evaluating the Cognita Assurance Framework. The importance of effective governance, as framed by the Cognita Assurance Framework, is a key facet of the role and building and maintaining positive professional relationships is a core function.

- Values-Driven, with high emotional intelligence and strong listening skills.
- Able to navigate ambiguity and cultural complexity with confidence.
- A clear communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Self-directed, responsive, and discreet.
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Education or related field.
- At least 7 years senior leadership experience, ideally with regional or multi-country responsibility.
- Strong grounding in driving evidence-based school improvement, preferably in a number of international settings, including Asia.
- Skilled in coaching senior leaders and building capability in middle leaders.
- Excellent judgement, with the ability to balance risk, organisational values and cultural operational impact.
- Experience in leading one or more specific responsibilities, with evidence of strategic and operational impact.
- Experience of an educational system leadership role, with measurable impact across more than one school or site.
- Knowledge and experience of school leadership in Asia.
- Familiarity with collective consultation, safeguarding issues, or regulatory compliance.
- Experience of leading, or advising, schools in gaining international accreditation.
