Teacher Active are looking for a Teaching Assistant in Carlisle. We have an amazing opportunity to work in a local SEND school in the Carlisle area. We create amazing rapport with our schools and support all our staff with the on-boarding process! We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to deliver a permanent position in education. You will have the guaranteed opportunity to support pupils and help them thrive towards success. A

successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• SEND TA / SEND Teaching Assistant experience
• Experience working within a Primary or Secondary Setting
• A good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
• Excellent classroom management
• Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
• Experience of supporting young people on a 1:1 basis (desirable)
• Behavioural Management experience (desirable)
