Motor Vehicle Technician – Cumbria at North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust
Join to apply for this role within the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust, currently accepting applications for two experienced vehicle technicians to support the Cumbria workshop facility. Shift allowance of about 12.5% is applicable.
Responsibilities- Service, repair and maintain Trust vehicles (Petrol/Diesel/Hybrid and EV) to Trust and DVSA standards.
- Handle skilled service and repair of specialist ambulance equipment.
- Work within a modern workshop environment, supporting workshop throughput and reducing delays.
- Recognised apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
- NVQ or C&G Level 3 qualifications.
- Full UK driving licence with category C1 entitlement.
- Ability to work on a 365‑day rotating shift pattern.
- Basic salary £31,049–£37,796 per annum (AFC Band
5). - Approximately 12.5% shift allowance on top of basic salary.
