Electrical Installations Technician

Overview

Are you a driver with practical experience in electrical equipment installation? Our superb client based in Cumbernauld is seeking an Electrical Installations Technician to join them on a full-time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week with a slightly earlier finish on a Friday (typical 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, flexible).

• Cover Cumbernauld and surrounding areas, delivering electrical equipment to commercial clients
• Install equipment on site, calibrate equipment, fault diagnosis
• Attend monitoring visits to ensure equipment is providing the required output
• Make electrical repairs in the workshop
• Keep your vehicle clean, serviced and well equipped
• Take part in out-of-hours call outs for breakdowns or emergencies on a rota basis
• Collect equipment at the end of the hire term
• Support duties as part of a busy team

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Electrical service/repair experience or similar with basic experience of machinery control circuits, voltage/current measurements, components, etc.
• Some electrical qualifications
• Practical experience of in-service inspection and electrical equipment testing
• Knowledge of single-phase and 3-phase electrical motors
• NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or similar
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be physically fit as some lifting may be required
• Full product training and mentoring will be given on the products
• You must also be comfortable with occasionally working at height for installations

• Basic salary £35,000
