Job Opportunity
:
Internal Sales Advisor (B2B)

Location: Cumbernauld - Office Based

Contract: 1 x Perm and 1 x 12 Month Maternity Leave

Salary: £26,650 (plus potential up to 20% bonus)

Working Hours
Week 1 - Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Week 2 - Mon-Thu 8am-4:30pm, Fri 8am-2:30pm

The Role

JDR Recruitment are looking for a confident Internal Sales Advisor with a B2B background, to join our client's growing internal sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting customers, and playing a key part in delivering sales success. You'll be working closely with trade customers across a defined region, supporting quote processes, helping convert enquiries into orders, and collaborating with our external Regional Sales Managers.

In This Role, You Will
  • Deliver sales and frame targets within your assigned region
  • Provide clear communication on quote turnaround times
  • Proactively follow up on quotes to drive conversion into orders
  • Work closely with the External Sales team to achieve shared targets
  • Log and monitor all orders and quote enquiries to identify customer trends
  • Support your own development by seeking training and building product knowledge
  • Attend customer visits, exhibitions, and events as required
  • Carry out any other tasks as directed by your line manager
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in sales support
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Customer-focused with strong problem‑solving skills
Highly Desirable
  • Experience in construction, glazing, manufacturing and CRM systems (e.g. Sales tracker, Business Micros)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, quotations, or product specs
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of sash window components or joinery terminology
  • Understanding of building regulations, heritage requirements, or regulated environments (ISO, CE marking, etc.)
